Vote for Gwen Smith

This is a note from my friend Gwen Smith. WOnderful girl and super talented. Help her if you will. Write yourself a posty note and vote, vote, vote!!

THank you!

Hey friend - Two weeks ago, my son Preston heard about a singing contest on the Billy Graham radio morning show. The winner of the contest gets to open for one of our favorite Christian groups – AVALON. He insisted that I enter the competition...so I threw my hat in the ring & submitted my song “Broken Into Beautiful.” We were excited to learn this morning that I am one of 15 semi-finalists in the HEART OF WORSHIP Star Search Showcase! So...now I desperately need your help! The voting is somewhat like American Idol...it’s up to the people... Here is the formal announcement from the 106.9 site:

After reviewing 286 entries, our panel of judges has selected these fifteen entries as the semi-finalists in the Heart of Worship Star Search Showcase. Thanks to all of you that entered. There were some great performances but these were the ones that stood out over the rest. Now, it's your turn to decide. Between now and midnight on Sunday, December 17, you will have the opportunity to to listen to the entries and vote for the ones you feel deserve to make it to the final three and compete during Saturday afternoon at the Heart of Worship Celebration. You can enter as many times as you wish. The top three will be announced at 7:20am on Monday, December 18, during the Matt & Carol in the Morning Show.

The top three vote getters will advance to the finals at the Grove Park Inn in January – we have six days to vote - Would you please vote (10,000 times) ;) and email all your friends to do the same??? Here’s the link to vote:http://www.wmit.org/vote/
For HIS Glory and in HIS Grace,
Gwen
