635 - Ms Understood Giveaway

***Did you know they have this new thing that you can follow a blog or something??? I noticed i had 2 people show up on my blog as followers and had no idea how they got there - i mean on my sidebar... Kind of cool, i think...

***I added my speaking schedule to my blog sidebar if you are interested.

***I also added this new thing on my sidebar that is connected to Facebook. I have no idea how it is connected or what it does, but it looked cool. (I know Natalie and Dori, you are rolling your eyes at my lack of techy knowledge.)

Tuesdays, today's, giveaway is a book by my friend Jen Hatmaker. The first time I ever went to She Speaks in Charlotte, NC with one of my bestest of friends Melissa Guinn we met Jen Hatmaker. How could I ever forget with that kind of last name?

She was a ton of fun! I remember her husband and her at that time were just starting a new church and she was thinking she was being called to speak. Of course that is what all of us said at that conference. She was real though and not kidding around whatsoever!!

I remember the day being in a bookstore and looking down at a book by the author of Hatmaker. I knew it had to have been the same person. It was - yeah for her!! So she has been a writing machine. In past 4 years she has produced 7 books through various big house publishers. She has been a keynote speaker for Lifeway conferences and is just as humble as they come.

I was talking to her yesterday about posting on her blog about her book being given away and to send her readers. She doesn't even have a blog...too busy writing books! (See i am still trying to be obedient about not getting on blogs that often...didn't even know she didn't have one.) I thought that was cool and special! So anyway, here is the book to one so very super lucky winner. Wish I had more than one to give out, but that is it for now folks!!

You are welcome to keep signing up for the other giveaways as well. As many times as you would like... I don't mind putting your name in the bowl that often! Well maybe not.

My bible study group did "Modern Girls Guide" by Jen Hatmaker. It was LIVE CHANGING. She is so amazingly funny. We are getting ready to do "Tune In" next.

So would I like to win this book? Oh yeah!

Thanks for the chance.

Yes, would love to have this book. Yes, would love to be disciplined enough to stay away from awesome blogs like this one! But I just CAN'T!! :-)

I was one of the ones who used the linky thing and I guess I showed up as a follower. It was pretty easy to link to your blog!

This is my entry for Ms. Understood! How fun that you knew her way back when. :-)
