I love you taking the time to address what it means and doesn't mean "all these things will be added to you." 'Cause often times I think we who are passionate for His call encounter the unpassionate for His call who say "You must not be living right, or doing things right, or all this wouldn't be happening." We're told to count it all joy when these trials come, and I do believe that being surround by people (even if it's only a handful)who get that, can help you get through sometimes.
Thank you for telling the TRUTH!

You are so awesome.
Thanks for sharing that, Leigh. So many people think that Christianity will be a walk in the park, that God will just make everything nice & easy. In our paper this weekend, there was a pastor and major leader of this denomination who claimed that we didn't have to worry about getting swine flu because God wouldn't allow His people to get sick! ARGH!
How often God addresses trials, tribulations, struggles, etc., yet people just don't get it. Yes, He will handle the issues of our lives as we surrender to Him, but He never says that will be the comfortable path. However, knowing that He's there with us should mean so much. We don't have to figure it out, work it out, handle it on our own. Praise Him!! :D
Leigh,
