Huge Decisions

This is a repost of a time that I was in great turmoil and God told me to hold my tongue - majorly difficult for me at times!!

Lord Jesus!! I need you desperately. I need your wisdom and I need your discernment!

I have been told a few times that I am too honest. That I share too much on my blog, that I tell too much when speaking, that I have my real feelings too much exposed, or tell too much. It is the truth at times and I am learning it really is not what you say, but how you say it! But many times I feel it benefits the majority of people to see a real life lived out and used by Him that fails often and tells about those lessons learned from failures! I think people in general learn so much more from one that is willing to let their mistakes be known than to hide them and try to play the perfect game?

Lord, thank you for this scripture today. Proverbs 17:28 "Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue." I understand what you are saying to me in that for my life as a whole. "Better to be a fool and keep quiet than to open your mouth and confirm it" - I am sure that is someone's quote. But as for my life today, I know what else you are saying.

For today, I need to keep quiet as well. There are so many things that I could try to explain, I could try to defend, I could try to get others to see my way, but you are asking me to keep quiet. Lord, I will. That is a complete trust thing in you for me. I think in my mind if I don't speak up at certain times then I won't get really heard or understood or justified. But this whole week you have told me that you are my Redeemer. Ps. 19:14. And even that verse is one about words coming forth from a mouth, my mouth!

Lord, I thank you for these last couple of months and I thank you for your lessons to me. I thank you for all you are doing in my life. I thank you that you are my Redeemer. Thank you for calling me out of the pit and for calling me into Your light!

I hear you Lord, loud and clear. I hear you!! Thank you for my parents and Clay that have guided me in my days and their wisdom that has given me so much insight. Thank you for the prayers of my friends and the counsel of the wise. Thank you for Melissa and Tracy! Thank you for speaking through Toyia directly to me to confirm an area in my life. Thank you for being my strong tower and shelter from the rain. Thank you for my salvation and for my redemption through your blood! I love you!! You are my confidence!
