Good Morning, Leigh!
I'm Jamie (inspiredmess everywhere) and I'm the girl that messages you on facebook all the time and first met you at the women's conference at Orchardville Church. haha! My blog: http://inspiredmess.blogspot.com tho I have a couple other blogs going on and lots of projects but that's my main one.

My word of the year is LIVE. I have MS so I want to make the most of every day. I don't know when my ability to see or walk can be taken from me and I want to make the most of it all and just LIVE and inspire others to do the same.
My verse(s) is Philippians 1:20-21 which says "20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."

I would love your thoughts on those verses. Sometimes I read it and feel like it's perfect and other times, I'm not so sure. Maybe it's just doubt. Love your verse too! That's so great! Live with no regrets! Love hearing you speak. Best accent evaaaa.
Happy New Year!!! It's gonna be a great one! I just know it! God bless!

Leigh,
I'm Mary Lynn. I have been following your blog for a while. While I have been greatly encouraged and challenged by your writing and vlogs, you have played a huge part in a major life change for myself and my family. Back in late August or early Sept you announced a change in your ministry website. I popped over to look thru it and found the speakers link- I found one name or actually hometown of the speaker to catch my breath. My husband was being offered a job in that town and we (I) was struggling with if this was God's call for us to leave a town and church/ministry that was comfortable and dear to us. Of all the states and of all the towns in Ohio, God used your email to help confirm that this was where He wanted us to go. I emailed Joy at the end of the week when my husband was submitting his resignation and she called me that evening. It was so good to hear about the town and area and be assured that other Christian families were active. She then connected me to another Christian mom who is a realtor. What a blessing that friendship has been as well. My husband would joke that I had more friends than he did in Ohio and I hadn't even set foot in Ohio yet. While I haven't been able to meet Joy yet (she was out of town during my one trip to Ohio), she and Jessica have been such great friends and encouragers with advice and information about so much. My kids (5 and 7 yrs), 3 cats and I have moved to Twinsburg over the Christmas break - been here a week-
While we left precious friends, an unsold and loved house, ministry and warm climate (Ga), we know that God has something in store for us as a family here in Ohio.
So thank you for helping put a little peace in my heart about this major move and the time we were separated from Daddy while he started ahead of us here in Ohio.
I am a former teacher - turn SAHM/Preschool children's minister-turn SAHM who hopes to enjoy scrapbooking, cooking, bicycling/exercising, and reading more. The kids and I are looking forward to exploring the area and learning about snow. We are posting our adventures at frozenpeachesfour.blogspot.com.
My other main blog/journal is baskingingrace.blogspot.com.

Hi Leigh! I am not only brand new to your vlog, but brand new to blogging in general. I have a friend who has a blog, and wanted me to have one too, so she would at least have one follower. LOL. So I did, and now I think I may have 2 followers. I don't see myself as a writer, so I may not have a lot to say, but I will come to your page and just sit and listen to you, and let God speak to me through you. I think you found my page on blogfrog, I'm not sure, but I truly think God brought you to me. My first time to click on your page was the vlog about not dying yet!! I needed that. I just retired, and don't know my place or purpose, so this helped me to keep on keeping on. I just memorized Deuteronomy 31:8 and I think it will be my verse this year. "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you: He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

Hello Leigh,

I have come to vlog through BlogFrog and glad I did.
My name is Angela and as of yet I don't have a year verse. What I do have though is Samaritans Purse Shoe Box Scripture Treasures memory verses for each week of the year. You see, I am the drop-off center coordinator on Wilmington Island, Savannah, GA for Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Christmas and this was one of many items that Samaritans Purse gives away.
I am also the owner of Coastal Health Information Services helping individuals to take control of their health by arming themselves with information about their health concerns and conditions. I stated my business some years after I was diagnosed with arthritis and fibromyalgia and since that time in 1999 I have been diagnosed with Gout, Restless Leg Syndrome, and Sjougen's Syndrome and a wide variety of other things that are related to these health conditions. The great thing about all this is that since I have joined my church, three years ago, and I have started a consistent relationship with God, I have overcome my pain, depression and overall feelings of yuck. I am no longer on 10 medications but I've cut them down to just three. My thyroid has healed and now the rest of my body is starting to heal.
Thank you for your inspiration to continue my walk with God and Jesus.
