Okay this is one I've been struggling with. And I've found that journaling helps me immensely(and I write about really mundane things - took garbage out today - stuff that's really exciting - but writing it down really helps me) - I don't blog about these things - and following what the Lord says to me - such as - don't talk to that person ... or go someplace else .... things like that - apart from the grace of God though - I really mess up more times that I can count.
Lately I have to sing a song from my childhood church. It's Psalm 51:10... "Create in me a clean heart o God and renew a right spirit within me... Cast me not away from Your Presence and take not your Holy Spirit from me...". By the time I get to the end I have calmed down.
Love the book of James. Such practical guidance for the Christian faith walk, and walking pleasing to the Lord. Thanks for the devotional. Spoke to my heart today. Hope your appointment went well and physical therapy can begin for you!
Hi Leigh, I love to hear your vlogs. My hubby even listens to them. You are a blessing more than you can ever know. I want to memorize this verse too because I am usually not slow to anger. I tend to get really frustrated at my hubby, and he is so precious, I want to be kinder and gentler with him. I will plant this Word in my heart too, and see God work! Love you! Mary Hudnall
