Is there any benefit of going to church?
I wanna spend time with family, I want to spend time at the beach, I want to spend time in the bed, I want to catch up on the week, I want to go.............. on Sunday!! But is there blessings with those decisions?
You tell me.............. What are some deal breakers for you as to whether you will attend one church but not another....? Very curious...
It's manditory for me to go to church...in fact, on Sunday I go to 2 churches in the am and 1 in the pm...all different. The two churches I am in some form of leadership. The third church is me time. Sometimes I feel like the life gets sucked out of me and I just want to worship without eyes peering holes in the back of my head...I want to be where almost noone knows me. My #3 church had to be in the same denomination, or lack thereof...ahem. That was hard to find since I also required that the church would not be like my church. kinda hard to explain...same doctrine, not the same style. There were plenty of deal breakers, just can't share them. :)I found 1 place that's strange but increasingly comfortable...I don't have to go, but I really want to.
You know you've found the right church when you feel like its home. You find a place for yourself there and you are able to get fed (from the Word) but also find a place to serve! My husband is a pastor, so our decision in where to attend is different that most people! Not only do we need to like the church, it needs to like us as well!

Great post Leigh! Some Sundays going to church is the absolute last thing I feel like doing, but as soon as I get there, I am so glad I went.
Blessings,
Adrienne
