Leigh, I love this! You are so right about balance and moderation in all things. We cannot simply spend time in the Word without making sure we take care of these temples! Healthy and balanced is my goal and it is obviously yours, too.

By the way, I love how you are teaching your children the "birds and the bees." We've done that, too. It sets them up for success in this very important area of life. Thank you for mentioning that little tidbit...I know God will use that to encourage parents who are wondering what to say and when to say it.

Praying that you and your daughter have a wonderful time together!

I see my girl beat me to your post! I love the birds and the bees. Try having this talk with Boys.. Wow.. even less fun than girls, but I did it with all three of my boys. Real words, real plain, real real!! They squirmed as much as I did but we made it through and I was more honest than comfortable but we did it!

Balance is what I'm striving for right now. I have things in my heart that I desire so much to accomplish but so many things are vying for my time..

I love your realness Leigh!! Have fun on your trip! Left you an msg in your inbox. :)

Love this, Leigh. Hope you're having an amazing time with SJ. Love it. We do something similar with our boys, but you'll have to pass along your "girl" advice by the time I get to my Elly! I don't comment often, but I love when I get a chance to check out your blog. Thanks for all you do. Blessings! (:
