Happy Easter

The Easter Bunny comes early every year at our house. This is a tradition started by our church back in Charlotte, NC. They wanted us to celebrate the bunny on any day other than Sunday, Jesus' Day!! It really has made things much easier. Now if i can only get my kids to really grasp this concept, reason, and meaning that is so different than most of the world. Some day they will understand and hopefully pass it on to their own kids. Have a wonderfully triumphant Easter. He is risen, He is risen indeed. Shout it out!

Amen sista! I love those blond heads! Great idea! I still do Easter baskets for my kids (22, 19 & 15). Maybe I will give them on Saturday night this year!

What a great idea. Still able to enjoy the "kiddie" bunny chocolate stuff, and not missing out on the real reason we celebrate. We may give this a try!
Thanks for stopping by my place. :)
Happy Easter!

I think that is great. While we do Easter baskets and such we do not "play Easter bunny" or Santa for that matter. I was raised that way and I so is my daughters. My in-laws don't quite understand it, but my girls do not seem to suffer. They still get all the perks and they can focus a little more on the reason for the celebration. (As much as little ones can without being distracted by the candy)

I think it is great to do it a day earlier, making THE day that much more easier for them to focus on the reason for the DAY!
