Leigh, first I want to say thank you for the vlblog post this morning, it truely shows passion, love, faith and hope. You are truely a treasure! Bless your heart, for I know what it is like to leave your family behind to return home to care for your parents. I will keep your mom and dad and you(family) in my prayers. God loves you!!

Hi Leigh,
Thank you for this update. I have been praying for you and your family since I read of your precious dad's stroke.

I have been where you are, in this very same season. It is particularly hard, when all around you the world is celebrating the season while your heart is breaking.

However, that is all surface stuff. While we may not have the outward celebrations of the holiday season during a time like this, we do have the inward joy of knowing that Jesus came for us! And because He came, we know that a day is coming when there will be no more pain. With His nail-scarred hand, He will personally wipe away all tears from our eyes and welcome us into everlasting joy. And that is something to celebrate.

I will be praying that you will fee Him especially close during this time. I will also pray the same for your parents. Cling to Him in the midst of it all and He will give you His strength.

You are a wonderful daughter and your parents are so blessed to have you.

Enjoy being reunited with your family and I wish all of you a most blessed Christmas.

Praying,
Susan in NH
